Global Market Services

Use our global relationships and resources to expand beyond our borders

Why export?

More than 95 percent of the world’s population and two-thirds of the global purchasing power lies outside America’s borders, yet less than 1 percent of the 30 million businesses in the U.S. export.  Furthermore, 85 percent of economic growth will occur outside the United States over the next five years.  Exporting can be profitable for businesses of all sizes.  On average, sales grow faster, more jobs are created, and employees earn more than in non-exporting firms.

The Saratoga Partnership Global Markets Assistance Program

The Saratoga County Prosperity Partnership has developed a strategy to increase the global competitiveness of Saratoga County and its businesses. Our program includes technical assistance for Saratoga County businesses that currently export or those seeking to expand into markets outside of the United States.  Our team’s extensive contacts with U.S. Government and New York State agencies and our knowledge of foreign markets and trade opportunities can help you to expand your reach. Let us help your business reach global markets through our programs and unique partnerships.

If you are interested in taking advantage of opportunities in global markets, please take our brief Global Markets Survey so we can better serve you.
