websites are relevant for teens living anywhere in the U.S. Topics
include mental health, nutrition, sexual violence, and substance abuse

Anti-Drug?
Run by Freevibe, this site encourages kids to submit info about the
hobby, person or passion that stands between them and illegal drugs, and
also to read about other kids' Anti-Drug lifestyles. Watch the edgy,
high-impact Anti-Drug TV ads and get tips about decoding media messages,
too.
YouthBet
This animated site, developed by the University of Toronto, is a place
where teens and pre-teens can learn about the signs of problem gambling,
how to help a friend with a gambling problem, and the difference between
low and high risk gambling.
The Cool Spot
Designed for for kids aged 11-13 by the National Institute
on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism,
this site has a fun, interactive format the helps kids learn the facts
about alcohol and resist peer pressure. The content is based on
a curriculum for grades 6-8 developed by the University of
Michigan to give young teens a more accurate picture about alcohol use
among their peers.
Bubblemonkey
This interactive site has a variety of interactive games, great
information for kids, a quiz about substance use, and real stories that
get kids to think about why drugs are ever considered cool.
Do You Have a Drinking
Problem?
This site has a quiz that's based on the Alcohol Use
Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT), developed by the World Health
Organization to screen for harmful or hazardous drinking patterns.
