Updates

The Executive Committee is moving forward with Jack Sandler and John Kelly as co-chairs, however, they are still looking for a secretary.  If you are interested please contact Maureen.
 

Committee
Updates

   In an effort to build a relationship with the local faith based community, the Coalition Building and Membership Committee would like to join together with local faith based communities to find out their needs are as well as begin sending a “No Use” message within the community.  With the month of October being Prevention Month, the group would like to ask the faith based community to run a prevention program.
 

The Community Awareness Committee, whose goal is the change the social norms around underage drinking, needs help in gaining committee members. If you are interested in joining please contact Cindy Dort or Maureen Cary.

The High School Transition Committee had a successful open house at the high school, but is looking to make changes and improve the flow of the open house for both parents and students for next year.

The Youth Empowerment Committee is working on recruiting new members for this upcoming year.  The committee is looking to get involved with the new recreation center being built in Saratoga along with one other community project chosen by the students. Goal is to hold our first meeting by the end of October. For more information please contact Becky Black.

 
Parent Resource Committtee:

There will be a Parent University Summit on Saturday, November 7^th at the High School. Please see the school district website for more information or contact Mike Piccirillo at 583-4714.
